Most popular. A professional, personal transfer of up to 6 VHS or MiniDV tapes, the right fit for most family collections: birthdays, holidays, recitals, and the everyday moments in between.
Everything in The Essentials, for up to 6 tapes, plus:
USB drive with all of your files included
More detailed archive organization
Clear file labeling based on your tape labels and contents
Every tape receives: professional real-time transfer, careful individual handling, a quality review, MP4 files, and a private digital download that is yours to keep with no subscription required.
Price: $349 for up to 6 tapes, $58.17 per tape at full capacity. That is $49 less than two Essentials packages.
Package capacity: 6 tapes is the maximum this package covers. Sending fewer tapes does not change the price, and unused capacity is not refunded.
Tape length: each tape includes up to 2 hours of recorded content. If a tape runs longer, we contact you with a quote and only charge more with your approval. Recordings are never cut short or discarded without your permission.
Getting your tapes back: tracked return shipping to a U.S. address ($15 per order) or free scheduled pickup in Long Branch, NJ, chosen at checkout.
Mail-in service: you ship your tapes to us at your own cost. After purchase, we email you the receiving address and packing instructions. Please do not ship before you have them.
Media Preservation Notice: Every tape is handled with care. However, aging or previously damaged recordings may experience breakage, playback interference, or incomplete transfers. We cannot guarantee full recovery or assume responsibility for deterioration-related damage.
