Best value. A professional, personal transfer of up to 12 VHS or MiniDV tapes, for a full family archive or a lifetime of recordings, at the lowest per-tape price we offer.
Everything in The Family Archive, for up to 12 tapes, plus:
Our highest level of individual attention for every tape
Complete archive organization across your whole collection
Light image and audio adjustments, such as color, exposure, and level balancing, where technically possible
These are gentle corrections, not restoration or artificial resolution enhancement. Standard definition tape remains standard definition.
Every tape receives: professional real-time transfer, careful individual handling, a quality review, MP4 files, a private digital download that is yours to keep with no subscription required, and a USB drive with all of your files.
Price: $599 for up to 12 tapes, $49.92 per tape at full capacity. That is $197 less than four Essentials packages.
Package capacity: 12 tapes is the maximum this package covers. Sending fewer tapes does not change the price, and unused capacity is not refunded.
Tape length: each tape includes up to 2 hours of recorded content. If a tape runs longer, we contact you with a quote and only charge more with your approval. Recordings are never cut short or discarded without your permission.
Getting your tapes back: tracked return shipping to a U.S. address ($15 per order) or free scheduled pickup in Long Branch, NJ, chosen at checkout.
Mail-in service: you ship your tapes to us at your own cost. After purchase, we email you the receiving address and packing instructions. Please do not ship before you have them.
Media Preservation Notice: Every tape is handled with care. However, aging or previously damaged recordings may experience breakage, playback interference, or incomplete transfers. We cannot guarantee full recovery or assume responsibility for deterioration-related damage.
